Whenever I hear Westerners talk about dieting, it often involves cutting back on carbs, especially foods high in simple carbs such as rice and noodles. Westerners tend to believe that Asians don't gain weight because of their good genes, but that is a nonfactual stereotype. In fact, whenever Asians start gravitating towards Western fast food, which of course, consists of a lot of sugar, they do gain weight, just like us.
